Costa Rica ecotourism
Volcanoes, beaches, ocean and palms
Vacation and traveling in Central America

Information about Costa Rica ecotourism: Costa Rica, translated Rich Coast, is located between Nicaragua and Panama and is bordered in the east by the Caribbean and in the west through the Pacific. Between the Costa Rican Pacific side and the Caribbean side, which is divided by active volcano mountains whose highest point reaches 3,800 meters, almost all tropical vegetation stages and ideal living conditions exist for more than 1,500 animal species and botanical species. In Costa Rica a huge number of active volcanoes are to be found, amongst others the about 2,700 meter high Poás and the approximately 1,600 meter high Arenal.
The only about 51,000 km2 big Central American country is ideal to enjoy the untouched nature, to relax on the white sandy beaches beneath coconut palms and to undertake excursions to the volcanoes and to nature reserves. The hotel Paraiso del Cocodrilo which is located in the middle of the nature paradise of Costa Rica, only a few miles of Sámara, in the province of Guanacaste is the perfect starting point to enjoy your vacation.
While the Caribbean, where mostly in December the rainy season begins, is known for Reggae music and surfing, the Pacific side where the rainy season is between May and November is suitable for walks on the more than 1,000-kilometer-long coast. Here one can find many quiet, pristine beaches.
Our hotel offers tours Touren (about 3 hours) in the primeval forest to a crocodile lake, with an experienced local leader. You will be able to experience animals and plants very closely. With the Paraiso del Cocodrilo you can experience Costa Rica, nature, animals and primeval forest tours.
